During 1-54 Marrakech, local galleries and cultural spaces across the city will host temporary exhibitions and events. We invite all our visitors to explore the city of Marrakech and see what’s on during the week of the fair.

1-54 FORUM will also be running in parallel to the fair, from the 23 – 25 February, and presenting an engaging programme of talks titled Always Decolonise! and curated by Omar Berrada. View the full programme and book your seat here.

The archaeological site Aghmat, for the first edition of THROUGH, will host site specific installations by artists Omar Berrada, Oli Bonzanigo, M’barek Bouhchichi, Michele Ciacciofera and Sara Ouhaddou, presented by VOICE Gallery.
Aghmat is located on km 30 route de l’Ourika (turn left at the “Aghmat sign”, then left at the first roundabout, and left again at the second one, you can then park there, and walk 100 meters to the entrance of the site).

FICTIONNAL SPACE: THE FICTIONNAL MARRAKECH BIENNALE 2018

In response to the cancellation of the 7th Marrakech Biennale, a group of local artists decided to create an “imaginary catalogue” for this seventh biennale. This catalogue, will act as a kind of melting pot where a mix of artistic proposals and reflective texts on the BM will merge.
