Following a 30-year commitment to the promotion of contemporary and traditional arts with her first gallery Arts Pluriels, Simone Guirandou-N’Diaye established LouiSimone Guirandou Gallery in 2015. The gallery supports modern and contemporary African artists including; Youssouf Bath, Moné Bou, Djibril N’Diaye, Franck Dikisongele, Ousmane Mbaye, Sadikou Oukpedjo, Jacques Stenka, and Dominique Zinkpè. Through a solo and group exhibition programme, the gallery provides a platform for artists and audiences from Côte d’Ivoire and abroad. As an art historian and contributor to the arts in Côte d’Ivoire, Guirandou-N’Diaye has also assisted in the organization of the International Exhibition of Plastic Arts of Abidjan (SIAPA), and is a member of the Academy of Sciences, Arts, Cultures of Africa and African Diasporas (ASCAD) and the International Association of Art Critics.
