Galerie Jérôme Poggi belongs to a new generation of Parisian galleries. Founded in 2009 by curator and art historian Jérôme Poggi, the gallery, initially located in the North of Paris, opened a second space in the Marais in 2014. The gallery represents around twenty international artists of varied backgrounds. Particularly active on the international art circuit, Galerie Jérôme Poggi participates in numerous fairs worldwide such as FIAC (Paris), the Armory Show (New York), ARCO (Madrid), ARTBO (Bogota), Artissima (Turin) and 1-54 (Marrakech).
Jérôme Poggi has also founded a not-for-profit platform, SOCIETIES, focused on the innovation of art-centered economic models, experimenting in new approaches to art and society transcending conventional institutions and markets. The platform supports l’Action des Nouveaux Commanditaires en Ile-de-France (or New Patrons Action in Ile-de-France), with the support of Fondation de France.
