Working with found objects and recycled material, Aston creates large and small installations as response to consumerism and to the excesses of our contemporary society, thus giving a new purpose and narrative to these discarded items. His works tackle ecological issues of pollution as well as the wellbeing of animals and humans. In his work Dépendance he uses cigarette butts to address tobacco addiction.
His works have been exhibited in museums and galleries internationally. In occasion of the 2012 Regard Bénin Biennale, Aston received the Prix du président de la République for his massive installation about the Holocaust Solution Finale.
