RA Projects is a London based architecture and design studio, established in 2009 by Architect Rashid Ali. Since its inception, the studio has worked on an array of projects, ranging in use and scale from an architecture and art installations to planning strategies. Recent projects include residential and boutique retail projects in the UK and cultural strategies in Africa and Latin America.
RA Projects has been widely recognised for their building projects as well as research output, including being nominated for the prestigious Young Architect of the Year Award in 2008 and 2011. The studio has also been featured in international publications and media outlets including BBC TV and Radio, Guardian, Architects Journal, Blueprint magazine, RIBA Journal and the New York Times magazine. Works by RA Projects has been exhibited at the Architecture Foundation, Dak’Art, Architectural Association, New London Architecture Centre, Mosaic Rooms and the British School in Rome.
