In partnership with Spier Arts Trust
Nando’s patronage of contemporary Southern African art, through close partnership with Spier Arts Trust, both enables career development opportunities for artists and the curation of the Nan-do’s body of work. The long-term partnership between Nando’s and Spier Arts Trust is modelled on the principle of shared value. By enabling artists to focus full-time on their artistic careers with the potential to earn a regular income, Nando’s is making a difference in people’s lives while grow-ing their body of high quality Southern African contemporary art. Spier Arts Trust administers programmes that create career development opportunities for professional artists, thereby facili-tating successful art careers.
Programmes include, among others: Spier Arts Academy, The Creative Block, Qubeka Bead Studio, and the commissioning of site-specific, architectural-scale artworks. Nando’s presents work by four Southern African artists: Ricky Dyaloyi, Zemba Luzamba, John Murray and Emma Willemse.
